Sunday 20th July - 3rd Slough Mela - Upton Court Park

The 3rd Slough Mela is practically here, featuring some of the Best Asain Bands, Stalls, Bazaars, Radio roadshows and Rides, event starts 12pm - 8pm.
This again is a DO NOT MISS event. Admission: Free

This years line-up includes artists like Stereonation, Sofia, Shezad Roy, Rishi Rich, Jay Sean and the Bombay Dream Dancers.
27th July 2002 - Slough Arts Alive

A free street arts event in Slough town centre 12 - 4pm. The 2003 programme includes Company Collisions, Nutkhut and Hoodwink, as well as onsite workshops and performances by local community groups. Arts Alive is also showcasing street arts performances by pupils from seven local schools who will have undertaken workshops with a variety of artists including Strangelings, Fizzbang's Circus, Theatre of Adventure and Juliet Russell.

Opening of new free-access computer centre in Langley

A new computer centre, offering free internet and email access, will soon open in Langley. The Longwood Towers I.T. Centre was the brainchild of Keith Nelson, who initially came up with the idea for a suite of computers for residents in his immediate area.
Slough UK online Centre - News

The Centre is one of 16 UK Online Centres across Slough, which are based around the goal of enabling everyone in the UK to get on board with ICT facilities near their homes and workplaces.
